U.S. Starcom's Bell Latino Division Opens Two Outlets in Florida
Beginning of National Expansion

PERTH AMBOY, N.J., March 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- U.S. Starcom USTA · News · Profile announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Bell Latino Multiservices, has concluded the purchase of one existing multi-service location, while also beginning construction on a second outlet in the Miami area. Both Miami locations are to begin contributing revenues for the company in the 2nd quarter, along with three other outlets scheduled to open in the Tri-State area (NY-NJ-CT), bringing the total Bell Latino retail locations to nine.

"We are very excited about this transaction!" said Mike Burns, President of U.S. Starcom's Bell Latino Multi-services Division. "We think our model has enormous potential for a few hundred locations nationwide, augmented by even more additional locations by franchising opportunities. We are on track to have a dozen Bell Latino storefronts operational over the next 6 months and expect at least twice that number next year. These outlets will utilize our telecom services and international remittance, while also selling U.S. Starcom products, such as content, music and a variety of pre-paid products and services. Additional offerings such as tax preparation, internet service and mortgages provide synergies for dramatically improving overall profitability."

In addition, Bell Latino is under negotiations to solidify cross border relationships with large Mexican-based retailers, which would allow U.S.-based Bell Latino customers to buy, spend and send store value purchased in the United States to be used in Mexico. For example, customers working or living in the U.S. could purchase construction supplies, furniture, appliances and other materials locally at a Bell Latino location in the U.S. and have them delivered by a Bell Latino Mexican retail partner to a locale in Mexico. Recently, Bell Latino executives traveled to Mexico and met with local politicians to further these negotiations.
